You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service, or have the consent of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You may maintain only one account. We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

  • Not scrape, reverse engineer, or build a similar service using our data or systems without permission
  • Not impersonate others or provide false or misleading information

We may take action, including terminating your account, if we determine you have breached these responsibilities.

6. User Content and License

You retain ownership of content you provide (e.g., survey responses, chat messages, feedback). By providing such content, you grant Navim a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display that content as necessary to provide and improve the Service. You represent that you have the right to grant this license and that your content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.

7. Accuracy and Changes

Immigration information in the Service is drawn from publicly available sources (such as IRCC and provincial programs) and is subject to change. We do not guarantee that the information is complete, accurate, or current. You are responsible for verifying current requirements with official sources or a licensed professional. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features or content at any time without liability to you.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
  • Our total liability for any claims arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) 100 CAD.
  • We are not liable for any decisions you make or actions you take based on Navim's guidance or content.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Navim and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law or third-party rights; or (d) any content you provide.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through your account or settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may retain or delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we may notify you by email or through a prominent notice in the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

13. Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies we make available, constitute the entire agreement between you and Navim regarding the Service.
  • Severability. If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
